I graduated from the University of Auckland in 2013 with a double B.A. in Literature and Anthropology and a year of Honors at the University of Edinburgh. I wrote and directed a feature film, The Dying Eye, depicting a teen boy’s escape from a serial killer cult. The film was advertised at the 66th Festival de Cannes and nominated for Best Thriller at the Southampton Film Festival, 2014. Other experiences include judging two tiers of the Austin Film Festival’s screenplay competition and helping edit a popular macroeconomics newsletter.
